But the truth is that people don’t buy consumer electronics for the quantity of features. They buy it for the quality of experience.
The iPad paradox: Less is more
Lately I’ve found myself justifying this “less and less” type of approach more and more. Maybe it’s just the fact that I love that both my Kindle and my iPhone just work. And for everything else, I jailbreak.
My switch to the Mac has already rid me of my hardware tinkering, as I no longer build or take apart any computers. I can’t help but wonder if my software tinkering is next. I hope not.
